This one-off custom marine fabrication project presented a number of technical challenges. 

The goal was to design a removable boat ladder that would help the owner to get on and off the boat easily, in view of a health condition.

The structure is composed of 2 major elements: a removable ladder, and a speaker rack.

We designed the removable ladder to allow it to be stored underneath the speaker rail. The ladder is out of the water, and safely housed under the rail when the boat is in operation. 

The speaker rack is designed to support the handrail for on-and-off access.

The ladder rungs are wider than usual for this type of build, easing the strain on feet and legs.

The material we used is aluminum. The structure is heliarc-welded, and powder-coated for a long-lasting durable finish, suitable for the harsh marine environment.
